Serbia climate

Serbia has a moderate continental climate with warm summers and cold winters. Belgrade experiences summer highs around 30-32°C and winter lows that frequently drop below -5°C.

The Košava wind is a distinctive weather phenomenon, a strong gusty southeasterly that blows through the Danube corridor. Spring is characterized by rapid warming and variable conditions with frequent rain.

Southern Serbia and the mountainous regions experience heavier snowfall and cooler temperatures. The Vojvodina region in the north is flat and exposed, making it susceptible to temperature extremes.
