Palau Weather Forecast

Palau enjoys a warm tropical maritime climate with average temperatures of 27-28°C and very little seasonal variation. Annual rainfall is heavy, averaging around 3,800mm. Humidity remains consistently high at 80-90%.

Located at the western edge of the Pacific typhoon formation zone, Palau occasionally lies in the path of developing tropical cyclones. However, Palau is hit less frequently than its western Pacific neighbors.

Palau's unique Rock Islands and barrier reef system moderate local weather conditions. El Niño events can bring extended dry spells that stress freshwater supply and cause coral bleaching.
