Tanzania climate

Tanzania's climate is tropical along the coast and temperate in the highlands, with significant regional variation due to the country's diverse topography. The coastal city of Dar es Salaam experiences hot, humid conditions year-round with temperatures averaging 26-31°C, while the central plateau around Dodoma is drier and slightly cooler.
