Lithuania climate

Lithuania has a transitional climate between maritime and continental. Winters in Vilnius are cold and prolonged, with average January temperatures around -5°C and snow cover lasting from December through March.

The coastal city of Klaipėda experiences milder winters and cooler summers compared to inland areas. Summer across Lithuania is pleasant, with long daylight hours extending past 10pm in June.

Spring is slow to arrive and often marked by chilly rain. Lithuania receives moderate rainfall distributed fairly evenly throughout the year.
