These terms cover your use of the website weatherscope.com, run by Aviator Assistant LLC ("we", "us"). The WeatherScope apps are covered by the App End-User License Agreement, and how we handle your data is covered by the Privacy Policy. By using this website you agree to these terms.
Weather information
Forecasts, radar, maps, alerts and articles on this website are provided for general information. Weather information can be wrong, late or incomplete, and the website can be unavailable at times. WeatherScope is not an official warning service: for decisions that affect your safety or property, rely on official warnings from the National Weather Service (or your national weather service) and your local emergency officials.
Using the website
- You may view and share pages of this website for your own personal use.
- You may not copy our content in bulk, scrape the website or its data feeds automatically, or resell our data or content.
- You may not try to break, overload or get around the security of the website.
- You may put our live map on your own website only with the code from Embed the Map, under the conditions on that page.
Accounts
A free account lets you save places and choose emails. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. You can delete your account at any time by writing to support@aviatorassistant.com.
WeatherScope Premium
Premium bought on this website is a subscription billed by Stripe on our behalf. The price, the billing period and any free trial are shown before you pay. You can cancel at any time from your account page; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for. Premium bought in the App Store or Google Play is billed and managed by Apple or Google under their terms.
Advertising and links
The website shows ads, including ads served by Google. We are not responsible for the content of ads or of other websites we link to. See the Privacy Policy for how ads use cookies, and our Editorial Policy for how we keep advertising separate from what we write.
Our content
The WeatherScope name, logo, design, text and images on this website belong to Aviator Assistant LLC or are used with permission. Weather data from government agencies remains public information; our maps, forecasts and presentation of it are ours.
No warranty and limits on liability
The website is provided "as is", without any warranty. To the extent the law allows, Aviator Assistant LLC is not liable for any loss or damage that results from using the website or relying on its information.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; using the website after a change means you accept the new terms.
