Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Weather Radar
Live radar for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines powered by Weather Scope
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines stretches from the volcanic main island southward through 32 smaller islands and cays. The climate is tropical with temperatures averaging 26°C to 31°C at sea level. La Soufrière volcano rises to 1,234 meters.
The dry season from January to May brings the most pleasant weather. The wet season from June to December is marked by frequent heavy showers on Saint Vincent, where the mountainous interior receives over 3,800 mm annually. The Grenadines are considerably drier.
La Soufrière erupted explosively in April 2021, blanketing much of Saint Vincent in volcanic ash. The contrast between the lush northern Saint Vincent and the dry southern Grenadines demonstrates the dramatic effect that elevation has on Caribbean rainfall.
